Goose Attacks Dog! (and whale flops on boat)

You, our beloved fans, have been neglected. We hope you’ve been too busy enjoying the summer to notice, but we’re sorry anyway. We promise to bring you lots of fascinating/thought-provoking/amusing posts in the near future, but for now we just want to keep you entertained.

The whale is a juvenile Southern Right whale, and because their proprioception is less than stellar, the experts seem to think that this was an accident rather than an intentional attack. Still, authorities are investigating whether or not the boat was harassing the whale. Southern Right whales are endangered according to the Endangered Species Act although the IUCN Red List lists them as a species of Least Concern, which is one step down from “Near Threatened.”
